Stephen Moon is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement in London. He brings more than 24 years of experience in performance improvement, PMI and carve-outs.

With more than 30 years of experience in the engineering and industrial sectors, Mr. Moon’s primary focus areas are operational transformation, post-acquisition value creation, operational due diligence and interim management. He has worked with industrial clients across private equity, including engineering, R&D, medical devices, aerospace, automotive, packaging and precision engineering and manufacturing.

Mr. Moon is known for quickly getting to the core issues; his strong, data-led approach; and his gift for speedy implementations. His hands-on leadership style brings projects to life during 100-day plans and enables rapid transformation under extreme cash and time pressures.

He is a Chartered Engineer; Whitworth Scholar; Member of the Institute for Turnaround; Member of the Institute for Mechanical Engineers; and a Member of the Institute of Directors. A British national, Mr. Moon is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
