Steve is Head of Customer Lending Support for NatWest Group and has over 25 years experience, primarily in restructuring and insolvency situations. Steve started his career as a lawyer, advising lenders, companies and boards of directors on all aspects of corporate and financial restructuring. After 8 years in private practice, Steve spent 3 years in the fund management industry undertaking a wide range of investment work. Steve joined NatWest Group in April 2009 and has undertaken various roles across the Group, including leading the Complex & International Restructuring team for 4 years, before becoming Head of Restructuring in June 2020. Steve took responsibility for all of the Group's non-personal customers in financial difficulty as Head of Customer Lending Support in January 2025. Steve is a Board Director and Fellow of INSOL International.
