Shane has over 30 years of restructuring experience, specialising in turnaround assignments / restructuring solutions (including sales of businesses), cash management, business transformation, and independent business assessments.

As an Independent Interim for the last 12 years, Shane has worked on 25 engagements incorporating 70 roles at companies with turnover from £0.1m to €1.4bn, and debt from £Nil to €0.8bn.  Working in the UK, USA, Canada, Portugal, Ireland, Holland, and Belgium in the industry sectors of Retail, Manufacturing, Automotive, Hotels, Travel, Leisure, Not-for-profit/Social Enterprise, and a "People Business" (Recruitment).  Key roles have included crisis and non-crisis Cash Management at various size companies, Head of Transformation of a €1.4bn turnover European DIY Retailer; Project Director for a €454m sale of business, and Pension Trustee Advisory work.

Shane started his career at Midland Bank, spending time within the workout group and becoming a Manager in the Recoveries and Realisations team.  He left Midland Bank in 1992 to join KPMG where he worked in most of the London restructuring and recovery teams, leaving in 2012 whilst a Director in the Restructuring Advisory practice.
