Sean Sullivan – IFT Fellow 

Appointed with confidence by lenders, stakeholders and regulators as Chair, CEO, NED or Advisor into situations involving debt, imperfect histories and foreshortened timescales.

A postgraduate scientist, originally managing complex change at some of the world’s leading service providers and now Fellow, Institute for Turnaround. Voted by industry 2014 UK Turnaround Practitioner of the Year, Public Sector Turnaround of the Year in 2018 and again as Independent Turnaround Advisor of the Year in 2021.

With some 30 turnarounds to his credit, Sean has previously held senior leadership positions with Murray Darling Basin Commission, South Australian Water, Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity, Genéralé Des Eaux, Thames Water, Eastern Electricity.

Sean started his career in the upstream international oil exploration industry.
