As a turnaround and transformation leader, I take short notice Chair, CEO, CRO or Advisor roles at organisations often with significant infrastructure in the community. I steer clients through key phases involving foreshortened timescales, imperfect histories with financial and reputational risks.
Appointed by lenders and stakeholders in the health, energy & utilities, contracting, transport and charity sectors. Situations driven by event, media, government or regulator, many requiring accelerated changes of strategy or managed exits by sale or process.
A postgraduate scientist, previously holding Director and CEO leadership positions and managing complex change for large service orientated corporations in the UK and internationally, I have provided publicly visible leadership to skilled professionals including as Executive Chair rescuing the Castlebeck Group following the BBC Panorama expose at its Winterbourne View site.
I have personally briefed State Premiers, UK Ministers including the PM as well as providing evidence to Parliamentary Committees in the UK and internationally.
