Robert Griffiths

Robert Griffiths – IFT Fellow 

Robert is an experienced Board level finance and independent turnaround professional specialising in cash management, refinancing, mergers, cost reduction strategies and corporate strategy.   

Prior to this, Robert held a number of positions.  Most recently as a Restructuring Banker at RBS.  Before that he worked as a Private Equity Investor (Aberdeen Asset Management), Corporate Finance lead advisor (Deloitte) and Restructuring advisor (KPMG).

His experience over such a wide range of roles provides him with a unique insight into the different requirements and mindset of all stakeholders in stressed and distressed company negotiations. 

He has been nominated twice by his industry peers for Midlands Turnaround Team of the Year and in a prior role twice as Midlands Turnaround Banker of the Year.

Robert has been an IFT member since 2010 and part of the Midlands Committee since 2011 of which the last two years have been as Chairman.  He is also a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Member of the Securities & Investments Institute and a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
