Rob Asplin

Rob Asplin – IFT Accredited Member

Rob has over 20 years’ experience in restructuring, Private Equity (PE) and M&A.

He is a Partner at PwC, leading the delivery of performance improvement projects for PE clients, as well as coordinating the PE offering for Operational Restructuring across the UK, and for BRS Globally.  He also leads the Investment Team for Innovation Investment Capital, which is a £50m government fund investing equity in entrepreneurial businesses in South Wales, that is being administered by PwC. 

Before joining PwC in 2021, Rob spent 11 years as a partner at a special situations PE fund.  He helped to form and lead the deal team, before then heading portfolio restructuring; protecting and creating value across a wide range of industries.  

He has been a non-executive director of numerous investments and responsible for transformation projects of an operational, financial and strategic nature.

Rob is a Chartered Accountant, holds an MBA from Oxford University and BA from Durham University.
