Paul Jacks – IFT Accredited Member 

Paul joined Shawbrook Bank in November 2016 to design and head a newly founded Non-Performing Loans team, operating across all Divisions of the bank.

He is a qualified Banker with significant and diverse background in corporate Financial Services gained through more than 33 years’ experience in the business lending arena, with RBS (30 years, Head of Business Restructuring & Recoveries), and latterly spending 2.5 years with Nationwide Building Society (Head of Portfolio Management, Core & Non-Core).  Paul specialises in business restructure and the necessary debt restructure that naturally follows with a focus on business survival and job retention as a priority.   

He has hands on experience working with UK trading companies through numerous economic and trading life cycles and across a broad spectrum of industry sectors, helping both performing and underperforming businesses to stabilise, grow and prosper.

Paul graduated from London Guildhall in 2000 (Banking & Finance degree - Law, Economics, Accountancy, Management & Strategic Marketing) and also INSEAD in 2004 (annual executive development program held at Fontainebleau for the Inter Alpha European participants banks’ emerging leaders).
