Mike Collis

Mike Collis – IFT Fellow 

Mike is an experienced Chartered Accountant having qualified with Arthur Andersen in 1992.

He is a Fellow of the IFT and has served as the chairman of the IFT Midlands Steering Committee.

He left professional practice in 1996 and spent five years in senior commercial roles in industry followed by ten years in private equity with Aberdeen Asset Managers rising to the position of National Head of Portfolio Management.

In 2009 he adopted a self-employed status to allow him the freedom to work with other stakeholders in the areas of strategy, performance improvement, exit management and turnaround.  

Mike primarily works with Maven Capital Partners as head of their Portfolio Management Team and with a private office investment fund called Fullbrook Thorpe Investments LLP.

He is also a visiting lecturer for the Nottingham University Business School and is an Honorary Fellow of Nottingham University.
