Matthew Alsop – IFT Associate 

Matthew trained as a Management account at Rolls-Royce as part of Transmission and Distribution Division before joining VA TECH in 1999 when he moved to Vienna as part of their head office Controlling function (engaged in group level forecasting/budgeting, reporting and M&A support).  Seconded to India as Finance Director to lead the turnaround activity within 2 manufacturing facilities before moving to Edinburgh to work for Peebles Transformers and then Worldmark Ltd.

Since 2008 been working for Consequent Ltd (www.weareconsequent.com) as an independent consultant in Scotland where been proactively supporting various Scottish SME’s in turnaround activity as well as raising over more than Ł5m in equity/debt. Qualified Accountant and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Matthew has a proven track record in achieving tight deadlines through quick adaptation to challenging, multicultural and high pressure environments.
