Martin Gudgeon

Martin Gudgeon – IFT Accredited Member 

Martin Gudgeon is a Senior Managing Director at Blackstone, and head of the European Restructuring and Reorganisation Group based in London. 

Recent clients include representations for debtors and creditors in the restructuring of Northern Rock, Thule, Parex, Mauser, Golden Key and Klockner Pentaplast and Government of Ukraine.

Prior to joining Blackstone in 2007, he was Chief Executive and head of European Special Situations at Close Brothers Corporate Finance, where he established its restructuring practice and represented a broad variety of clients including AES Drax, British Energy, EM:TV, Eurotunnel, Equitable Life, Jarvis, Federal Mogul and Rhodia.  

Mr. Gudgeon is a Chartered Accountant and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Electrical Engineers.
