Leslie Dewhurst – IFT Accredited Member 

After selling-out his software development business to Dutch partners, Leslie Dewhurst embarked on a two decade career in turnaround and restructuring in the Antipodes and Far East. 

Assignments there included: restructuring HSD, an engineering and maintenance operator for the aerospace sector, where he was Chief Executive and Guiding Light LLP, the developer of Marine Navigation Systems, which was overtrading and with a delayed product pipeline which he restructured and exited via a trade sale.

UK based turnaround work includes transformation and BPR in Light Engineering, IT and FE. As a corporate restructuring specialist he has also advised CBA, HSBC, NAB and BT.

Currently he is working on the Zoom-based turnaround of an adventure travel business with operations in the UK and South Africa. Raising new equity funding using EIS scheme 

To date Leslie has delivered: 16 Turnarounds, 2 Financial restructurings, 5 Consultancy and Interim assignments, 2 Start-ups and 5 exits, sales or disposals and 2 major Business Plan work outs and reviews.

Leslie also has extensive NHS-based Health-Tech and start-up experience.
