Jon Moulton – IFT Fellow
Jon Moulton has long experience of turnarounds, having invested in them for 30 years and with considerable success. Jon is a Chartered Accountant, a CF and a Fellow of the Institute for Turnaround Professionals.
Jon is currently Chairman of FinnCap, the major AIM broker, The International Stock Exchange and Anti-Microbial Research Limited. He chairs the Better Capital funds and also Greensphere, an alternative energy infrastructure fund (which was partnered with the Texas Pacific Group). Jon is a very active private investor and has been working in private equity since 1979. He is a member of the Board of the Corporate Finance Faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and regularly writes, broadcasts and speaks on corporate finance and financial matters. He is a Director of the think tank The Centre for Policy Studies. Jon is also an Honorary Fellow of University College London and a Trustee of the UK Stem Cell Foundation and his own medical research charity.
Former Managing Partner of Alchemy, Jon’s career has also included spells running Permira, CVC UK and the buy-out group of Apax, as well as being a director of numerous public and private companies including Ashmore PLC. He was also a member of the Board of the Ł3.8bn UK Government Regional Growth Fund.
