Gareth Hurfurt – IFT Accredited Member 

Gareth has over 20 years’ experience in restructuring as an independent executive and as an advisor as part of PwC’s restructuring team.

At board level with SMEs he has taken interim turnaround roles and supported management teams.  Projects have included cash and working capital management & forecasting, debt refinancing and structuring including debt equity transactions, developing and implementing turnaround strategies, along with taking interim FD roles.  

Projects include working with key stakeholders and advisors, including Big 4 firms, main Banks and private equity firms.  

During these projects he has been successful at building long term relationships with all stakeholders.

At PwC Gareth’s work included the MyTravel restructuring and the exit of Index stores.  He also spent three years working for the firm in Italy where as well as restructuring he was involved in corporate finance work. He is able to speak Italian.
