Chartered Accountant, Financial strategist, professional director, turnaround specialist, innovation expert.

In the previous 35 years, I have been an entrepreneur, professional director, business advisor, turnaround consultant, forensic accountant, and auditor. I have participated on the boards of 51 companies, including 11 start-ups, 3 turnarounds, 3 company purchases and 3 company sales, and have held AIM and NASDAQ listed company CFO roles.

I have worked in many different sectors, including financial services, professional services, charities, business services, software development, digital entertainment, and media. My international experience includes working in UK, UAE, Canada, France, Macedonia, Monaco, Luxembourg, Spain, Switzerland, USA, China, & Hungary.

Having been CEO, CFO, Chair, and Founder, I empathise with those who are trying to build and run businesses. I aim to inspire the people I work with and am fundamentally open, creative, and collaborative.  I have a deep passion for entrepreneurialism and innovation. In a break from financial work, I wrote the world's best-selling online course on ISO56002 Innovation Management for Eicorn in Sweden.

I enjoy working with my clients to discover the real factors that drive their companies, deploying novel technologies, sponsoring change, developing new systems, designing new products & building technology services – whether those factors be people, numbers, or ideas.

I work with carefully selected clients on an advisory or executive level. From time to time, I accept Professional Director roles to deliver rapid turnarounds for reputable lenders and investors. In the last 3 years, I have taken professional director roles appointed by investors or shareholders to deliver turnarounds for a £10m t/o law firm, a £40m t/o fashion business, and a £70m holiday park investment. All delivered above initial expectations.
