Andy Pearson – IFT Accredited Member 

After a 25 year career in KPMG where I formed and led the TS (due diligence) service team in the Midlands, with Nick Winks I co-founded WayPoint in 2005 to focus on restoring equity value in the very different universe of turnaround of under-performing businesses.

WayPoint deliver turnarounds in most market sectors working with PE funds, banks and business owners: its partners are all Institute for Turnaround (IfT) members with over 40 years collective experience of transforming the performance of struggling businesses.

Recent completed turnarounds include Sure Maintenance Group (trade sale September 2015), CET Group (secondary buyout November 2018) and Rainham Industrial Services (returned to strong EBITDA profits and minimal debt 2016-2020). Current projects include turnarounds for two PE-backed services businesses. I am investor Chair of two fast growing businesses - healtvhare and professionbal services - and also undertake focused diligence and transaction support roles on projects for PE and other business owners.
