Alison Goldthorp – IFT Accredited Member 

I am a restructuring lawyer with over 30 years experience in advising corporates, directors, insolvency practitioners, creditors , shareholders and other stakeholders dealing with companies or individuals facing financial difficulties. I look to give practical advice to resolve those financial difficulties wherever possible without the need for formal insolvency procedures. If formal insolvency is required I have extensive experience in advising directors and officeholders in relation to the issues arising. I have experience in dealing with contentious and non contentious matters. I care deeply about the restructuring profession and devote a lot of time to working for R3 giving training courses to members and assisting with its work to liaise with the government and stakeholders involved in the profession on insolvency law reform and the government approach to the ever changing financial challenges in the economy and the contribution that the insolvency and restructuring professionals make to the economy and to business rescue.
